Living Room
Welcome to our
home. Did you surf far? We've tried to create here the sort
of home we'd like to have if we had enough money - a home with space,a home
that is able to reflect the different sides of our personalities
and a home with infinite time where guests are always welcome.
We are the Evans
family and we live in Ilford on the outskirts of
London, UK. "We" consists of myself - Dawn -
my husband - Kerry - our son - Iestyn
- and our dog - Lily.

Kerry is a 39
year old Computer Manager. He is always far too busy.
Dawn is a 38 year old Mum who - to the regret of her husband - is just rediscovering
computers.
Iestyn (an old Welsh name pronounced Yes-Tin) is 11 and very happy.
Lily is a very conceited, limbo-dancing, 5 year old, miniature, black and silver
schnauzer.
There is a contents list in the Entrance Hall if you want to see exactly what is in here. I hope that the lay out and content will develop and improve once we've all had a bit of practice. For now, I'd like to tell you some basics then leave you to wander.
Kerry and I met during my first week at University and it was as close to "Love-at-first-sight" as I believe is possible. Sickening but true. We did not marry until 1987 for various reasons and Iestyn was born in August of 1990 - 1 month early- making him one of the youngest in his academic year.
Iestyn attends Ilford County High School - a Grammar school near where we live. It is a multicultural, multifaith school which reflects the community we live in. I work at his old Primary School part time. Kerry works in the city for a German investment bank.
We are an evangelical Christian family. We taught youth church for 9 years at our local Baptist church. We are currently "between churches".
As a family we hate Racism, Sexism, Injustice and Cruelty and we support many of those organisations seeking to reduce these evils in our world. We also have a keen sense of responsibility to our environment but - like most people I guess - we are not very good at putting it into practice.
I, in particular, enjoy meeting new people, chatting and making new friends. I do not get much time on line these days so if you are trying to contact me, please don't be offended if it takes a while to get a reply.
