This is our kitchen. As you can see we've got the builders in at the moment and you know what they're like - tea and biscuits every half hour!

But don't let that put you off coming in for a cuppa and a chat.

I've always wanted a large, country kitchen with a big wooden table for the family to gather round. Ironic then that the only time I had a large kitchen was when we lived in a one-bedroom flat! Now we have a minute kitchen, eat in shifts in the living room and  always seem too busy.

I'm not sure what to do with this room yet but the house would not have been complete without it so here it is. Kitchens to me are places to chat, places to experiment with new recipes, places where you take "friends" rather than "guests" or "visitors" - so - I guess if you've come this far you must be on the way to becoming a "friend".
