Assorted Adopted Pets

These are my otters. The Darker one is male and is called Ben and the lighter one is female and she is called Tansy. I adopted them from here .......		Otters are Britain's largest, native, freshwater mammals. They have thick, water-proof fur and they are very powerful swimmers. We used to have a lot of them and people used to keep Otterhound dogs to hunt them. which is horrid but now there are not many left and they are protected.
They like to live along clean streams where there is a lot of plant cover for them and a lot of fish and where they are not disturbed so it is very hard to see an otter. They have them in Scotland mostly. They have good eyesight and they hunt the fish underwater before they bring them onto land to eat. They will also eat frogs, small birds and mammals like mice if they get them. If they live near the sea they will eat shellfish too. You will find it hard to see an otter but you might see the left-overs from its dinner!


This is Mum's Raccoon, Ricky. He is called Ricky after her toy Raccon which she had at college. He's a bit of a lazy raccoon and likes to sleep a lot.			This is Sammy the Raccoon. He likes to climb trees so he is very useful if one of my balls gets stuck :o) He likes to eat pine cones mixed in with fruit juice and he hates next door's cat!

I got Zeus my pony from Jennifer at the Fearsome Four Adoption Stables. They have all sorts of Horses there.

He eats rainbow corn from a special field which grows on the moon. He does not like to be ridden. The rainbow corn makes his tail and mane glow with rainbow colours. Fortunately he can fly to the moon himself or it would cost me a lot to keep hiring spaceships!!

This is Baby Geoffrey my little Elephent. I adopted him from Meghan. Click on him if you can give a home to a little elephant. He is a little bit lonely at the moment because he is very new and he does not know anyone but he will soon settle down. Hope he is not afraid of Mike the mouse! He's on the next page so it should be ok.

Pogo, Dizzy, Fins and Jane

They love to play "follow the leader" and eat raisins and cheese (only suitable for computer fish - don't feed them to real fish!)

Here is Spot. Don't be afraid - he's very tame and he won't bite. Loud noises scare him so keep any babies visiting quiet please.


Dragons Adopted from D'Mentia
This is Skye - she is really my Mum's dragon but I let her live here because she likes to be near Cinder. They are brother and sister and get along very well. Skye is very pretty and sings with a beautiful voice though we can never understand the words. I think Aurora understands them. Sometimes she likes to play in the dragon nursery with Jewel and Eleri and sometimes she visits the Gloworyms.	This is Cinder. He is the brother of Skye. He is also great friends with Flame Igneous and Gem. His favourite food is coal but he can put up with pizza too. He burns the coal before he eats it to give it a yummy flavour - barbecued coal! His sister thinks it is disgusting and it gives him black teeth, not really. He bites her tail if she says that! Sometimes after he even says she sings like a monkey sitting on a bees nest - it does not impress her!!!


	This is Spud and his baby brother Spid. They like playing ring a ring o roses!
