The land of the Glowyrms is strange and mysterious. It used to be a very peaceful land until the hungry, vicious Moonrats and the evil, Furball Sorcerers arrived. Now, the Glowyrms live in fear.

Luckily, the Moonrats may hunt only in darkness, just able to stand the light of a pale moon. The little fireflies of the land can make quite a powerful light which hurts the Moonrat's eyes and helps protect the peaceful Glowyrms. The light of a Glowyrms tail is not strong enough to protect them from the Moonrats but if lots of Glowyrms huddle together then the light is strong. Unfortunately there are not many Glowyrms left in the land.

Sometimes the fireflys aren't there but there are flowers to hide behind. There are also just two pairs of GlowBeetles. They bury themselves for protection from the FurBalls who like to kill them. They are in no danger from the Moonrats because their shell is so thick. It takes the magic of a Furball to harm them.

The wicked fur balls' home is any deserted spiderweb, sometimes the furballs have to weave their magic into the spiders body, this magic kills the spider.

The few Glowyrms that remain in the Land of Shimmers survive by eating ferns and they share their food with the fireflies that help them.

The Moonrats once lived on the Black Moon of Heyshan - a planet far beyond this world. There the skies are dark for most of the time. They were brought to this land by the evil little Furballs who like to travel the stars causing mischief. The Furballs have the power to return the carnivorous rats to their home planet but they like the scenes that are going on. We need a glowyrm to persuade or dual a Furball to force them to put this wrong right.

Remember the poor Glowyrms in these dark, dangerous times and if any of you have power over the beastly Furballs then have pity and send the Moonrats home.
