This is my Ocean page I hope you like it ! |
| My favourite sea creature is the great white SHARK. SHARK'S
seldom attack humans-only about 50 attacks worldwide are reported each year.
Most attacks are not
fatal. |
 |
 |
SHARKS
are very fierce hunters when they want to be. The biggest shark is the Whale shark but
they only eat small fishy things and shrimps.
There is a new aquarium
in London which is very good for seeing sea-life. There are quite big SHARKS and conger
eels and even moray eels. My favourite thing there though was a beautiful little Yellow
Tang and some very friendly Rays that you can stroke! It's a great place to visit!

You ever seen an
anemone eat a jelly fish ? I have but only on video.
 |
The great Barrier
Reef in Australia has lots of wonderfull fish The Cow fish is a small little fellow and do
you know some people say he looks strangely like a cow but we think they're a bit crazy.
|
| Do you like
CRABS ? I do but I am a little afraid of picking them up in case I get pinched!. If you
hold them the right way they can't pinch you at all. Hold them from the back of their
shell just behind their front pincers. CRABScome in all shapes and sizes and colours.
Horseshoe CRABS are wierd and look like they belong with the dinosaurs.
|

You heard about the
shaggy seweed CRAB? Well I have! It's so small you could call it tiny! It's about the size
of a fifty pence piece and covers itself with grit and seaweed! |

Do you know that
every time you go for a swim in the sea you are
swimming through
microscopic creatures called plankton as well as water?
Many sea creatures eat the plankton. Some huge whales only eat tiny plankton!

|
The Man Of War JELLY FISH is a
Portuguese chap. One touch of it's deadly poisoned tentacles will make it give you a
deadly poisoned sting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The JELLY FISH'S sting is so poisonous that you'd
die unless you go to hospital quick!

|
 |
CLOWN FISH
live their life in the tropical parts of the ocean. If they are ever in danger, they swim back home as fast as they can and hide in the deadly
stinging tentacles of anemonies. The anemone gets pieces of the clown fishs' food so they
are both happy. It is strange but CLOWN FISH are immune to the stinging tentacles.
