I have so far never been rock climbing out of doors - it's a little hard to do in the middle of London! I do enjoy climbing the artificial, indoor walls though. I have been to a couple of places but by far the favourite is the Welsh National Indoor Climbing Centre at Trelewis in South Wales. It is not far from my Gran's home so whenever we visit I always try and go climbing.
I like the challenge of finding the route up and the physical combination of strength and balance.
The climbing centre has now added an artificial caving coplex which I tried out with my friend Kate at Easter. It was good fun and we got thoroughly wet and muddy. We had to worm our way through tiny spaces and twist around inpossible bends. I could not get any pictures though - shame!
There is also a High Rope course 50 feet off the ground but I haven't tried that YET!
Below are some of the most recent pictures taken at the climbing centre. There are links to oldr pictures too including ones taken at a birthday party some time ago at the Mile End climbing wall. Enjoy

My Dad and Grancha did a beginners course so now they can belay me when we go. I just wish it was not so far. I can only go when we are in Wales!
Here I am on the small wall at Blue Water shopping centre. I love going there to shop 'cause I can usually get one climb in. It is very expensive though and the wall is quite easy and they do not give you any climbing shoes which is a pain. You can pay to absail down the other side though which is fun. The first time I was so nervous my legs were shaking - mum said I had "Elvis Legs"!!
