This is an odd book. It was not what I was expecting when I ordered it. I thought it would be an adventure book with computing stuff in it like some of her other books I have read but it wasn't. It is an adventure but it is one where the girl involved gets into all sorts of problems that are not her fault and then she ends up travelling into the future!

I did not read the blurb on the back so it was a surprise to me when she did go to the future and at first I was not sure what was happening. I did like it though and it is fairly easy and quick to read.

My favourite part was the bit in the future and the way things had changed while Lydia stayed the same. It has good bits about bullying too and making you understand how the victim feels.

I think the end could have been better. It wasn't so exciting and it did not really tell you what happened to the people in the future but it was still a good book and worth reading. i wish more books were about boys though!
