the fifth book in the series. In it SPLAT(society for the protection of our lives against
them) meets a boy called Michael Dexter whose father is in charge of a big computer
project called HYPERBRAIN. Hyperbrain is a big computer which can talk and think like a
human brain! Dinah and the rest of SPLAT think that this 'controller' may be their old enemy. Whoever he is they think that he is plotting something big time. Dinah thinks that part of his plan is to link Hyperbrain up to all the other computers in the world and use the information to make himself in charge of the world. Tim Dexter (Michael's dad) also invented a hologram to represent Hyperbrain, SPLAT think that there is something fishy about her as well!! Find out what happens in this fabulous book and as it says on the back of the book........Suddenly, asking questions is dangerous-and finding out the answers seems impossible because, like they all say, "curiosity is the curse of the human brain". I would recommend this book to reasonably good readers ageing from 7 to adulthood. |
