This is the fourth book in the series. Another good book from Gillian Cross with a good story line. I did not like the cover so much though. It is a photograph from the TV series. I do like the TV series but the imaginary ones are more scary and even when you are reading the book it is more exciting than watching it on TV because when you watch it the headmaster is just not as scary as in your imagination!

In this story, Dinah, Lloyd and Harvey's Dad gets offered a new job quite by surprise. They have to move and they are given a house to stay in until they get one of their own. Their Dad is going to work at the BRC (Biological Research Centre) nearby. Everyone seems to like the BRC except a boy called Simon.

Lloyd and Harvey do not notice anything funny but Dinah son notices that when people say they like the BRC, they always use the same words.

What are they doing in there? Who is the Director and how does Lloyd get into trouble - find out in this exciting fourth book in the Demon Headmaster series.

I liked it - not as much as number 3 or number 1 but a lot more than number 2!

I would recommend this book to reasonably good readers who can be patient for the action and wait for the puzzle to be revealed.
