the third book about the Demon Headmaster. It has a great cover this time. This book is about a new TV series which everyone is crazy about called Hunky Parker. He is a disgusting pig and at first the SPLAT friends cannot work out why people like him. They find out that the Headmaster is behind it somewhere and they go off to investigate. I liked this book VERY much - as much as the first one, maybe even a bit more. I thought the story was exciting and fast with lots happening. I liked the idea that everyone went Hunky crazy too with Hunky T-shirts and trotter trainers!! It was very exciting when they went to the factory to discover who was behind Hunky Parker and it made you rush to the next chapter to find out if they were ok or if they had found anything out. It is a good book and I recommend it to reasonably good readers and adults would enjoy it a lot as well as children. by I J Evans June 99 |
