This is a thrilling book and I think that Brian Jacques did well when he wrote it.

The book is about animals but Brian Jacques talks about them as if they are humans so in this book they have the same feelings, emotions and strength.

It starts off when Badrang invades the Eastern Coast and takes refuge in the northen marshes.

Badrang is a clever, bloodthirsty and heartless stoat. However, one day he makes the mistake of capturing a young mouse. Badrang did not know this but the mouse's heart is a warrior's!

Because Badrang imprisoned him he swore that one day he would get his revenge.

He makes friends with the other creatures and with the help of some 'friends-to-be' three people get out - the creatures are like people.

Martin trys to get back and free the others and make Badrang pay his debt.

Will he succeed?.....................................................
find out in this amazing book of Redwall.

I would reccommend this book to very good readers aged 8.
