This is a very funny book. I like a lot of Jacqueline Wilson's books and I think that she is good at working out a good storyline and her children act and talk like real kids.

In this book Tim is sent off to an adventure club for the holidays by his Dad. He hates Games and things and he has told his Dad he does not want to go but he gets sent anyway.

At first he is MISERABLE and cross and there are all these post cards he sends home complaining and also he gives his Mum more kisses than his Dad - they are very funny.

As he stays there longer he begins to make friends and he changes his mind about a few things.

The pictures are fun and I laughed a lot at some of the chapters. It is a fun book which is very easy to read and is suitable for most kids from 6 up if they can read it.
